In two hours, teams of four quickly scavenged for cutting materials to bring a gestural, gut reaction of an illuminated pumpkin carving to life. Where many studio projects are highly influenced by professors, outside reviews, etc., this quick project aimed at making on-the-spot decisions as a group. We quickly found a saw and began cutting slices of our pumpkins to rearrange them into a tunnel, creating a dialogue between interior and exterior, vulnerable and protective, and light and shadow.
